Collages
Find: Digital collages, mixed media, and analog collages. I studied painting and still approach found images and mixed media the same way as with brushstrokes, a pair of scissors, rearrangements, etc.
See: Surrealists believe in dreams and the stream of conscious practice of collage and assemblage. Codification and extended metaphors are tools from my english literature, art history background and continued queer theory studies. Inspired by: Hannah Höch, Robert Rauschenberg, Max Ernst, Remedios Varo, Leonora Carrington, Eugenia Loli, Beth Hoeckel, Frank Moth, Angela Deane, Gordon Cheung, The Pile of Brocade Ash (Wen Wan), etc.
Images: Vintage, found, or public domain.
